This is more like my Writer's Checklist for you to take a guide on, now I have been exploring the world of web design and can tell you, the best advice is to simply start from somewhere. There should not be any doubt keeping you from making a mistake, Iv'e made them too but this is how you can start, here are some pro pro steps :)

So to start off, yes there are buttons here, buttons there, but what you will specifically need is your creativity, most of the work is in the screen, so elevate the unimagined more than you ever have in the past months

Pre published web design skills :

  1. First off, let yourself draft a navigation chart or map of what you created in your mind for the site, do this as the start for the design process and for the overall purpose

  2. Come up with your theme, colors, style, fonts (use some "sans serif fonts for text passages")

  3. Avoid clashing too many colors, especially if they don't complement each other.

  4. Separate chunks of text from graphics, leave some room for white space

  5. Avoid overusing or crowding, take the time to think instead

  6. Most importantly, remain true to yourself and what you wish to convey!

Ensuing once the work/site is published skills:

  1. Information should be accessible in the simplest way possible, so that your message can be conveyed easily

  2. Check, revise that all your links work well when first publishing, do previews

  3. With writing, it is a plus to add anchor links, such as "for more information" visit... this will give the reader more knowledge on the topic

  4. It is best to incorporate the name of your business, organization, startup and the logo in a banner at the top of every site page (to easily access this "freeze" the logo)

  5. To point out key words, block - indent text sections that you expect readers, viewers to specifically focus on, this improves read details

  6. Lastly keep your subscriptions updated! (Do not forget to edit "SEO" for Google!
