Mini Poems Chapter One, Section Two

THE BODY

Out of all the outstanding pieces of artwork, I had an immediate remembrance about the human body and how just every single piece of our bodies are art, every shape and figure clearly has something special of it's own, now you clearly see mystery through the eyes but can tell a lot based on the movements we make. You know how people say "the eyes are the door to the soul?" Well, I do agree, and to me somehow the body represents one's beauty, one's shield, it's the place where you find peace and strength to overcome anything, what makes it more breathtaking is when within is as equally beautiful as what is on the outside.

LO TOMADO DE EL CORAZÓN

Si por una vez has sentido que tu corazón no puede estar en sobrio, es porque has estado tomando demasiado, y puede ser de amor o de pensar muchísimo, es solo que no le hayas fin, pero si quieres ya no ahogarte en el alcohol del miedo, soledad, y preocupación solo bebe de lo contrario, encuentra la tranquilidad y la paz en lo que te hará ser mejor, busca en ti el amor y la felicidad inimaginable confia en mi es razonable

THE RADIO

Driving towards the hillside, the song came up, taking her back to the moment when she realized what brought her the most joy, putting up the volume, speeding towards the road, she let down all her windows, allowing her hair to roam freely, oh could this song be the only to make her feel so alive, she drove and drove, in less than a minute there it was, there it stood the cabin home and alone she entered, picking up the old guitar and playing the words to the song all evening, oh the time was going by but this was the place of her own and she would be back at anytime

IN WHAT WAY

You look at her, but don’t see her, you hear what she tells you, yet never bother to listen, you just watch her pass by, never going after, she reaches just an inch towards your hand, but you don’t unfold your arms, in that case in what way is she suppose to show you just how much she feels?? In what way did you expect for her to have stayed? Because she didn’t, she went to someone who never makes her feel alone and unwanted, “who is it” you are wondering, it's herself. So in what way would you ever believe she will speak one more word to you, don’t ask, it cannot possibly happen at this point

FASTLY SLOW

It seems I'm running fast, but I'm not getting there on time, you come after me but you can't reach me, your'e not too slow but your'e not fast enough so if I go faster you should head your own way, I'll keep on going, keep on running nonstop regardless of the distance, so for instance your'e thinking of coming my way, don't unless you are ready to catch up along with me

SOLO A TU ALREDEDOR | ONLY AROUND YOU

I can still sense you nearby, your scent is like the waves with a touch of mint so how on earth am I to forget, every time I breathe it in it's as if I'm taken to a nonexistent place but the funny thing is, it does exist and that is only around you, come closer so that I won't have to ever forget, but if you choose to go just know I'll forget your scent, your touch as if it were never in my life

Todavía puedo sentirte cerca, tu aroma es como las olas con un toque de menta así que cómo diablos voy a olvidar, cada vez que lo respiro es como si me llevaran a un lugar inexistente pero lo gracioso es que sí existe y eso está solo a tu alrededor, acércate mas a mí para que no tenga que olvidar te, pero si eliges irte solo sé que olvidaré tu olor, tu toque como si nunca hubiera estado en mi vida

IT'S DIFFERENT NOW

It's different now you know, stepping out into the unknown.. but it does her so well embracing the new, you can see it in the eyes, as they fuel up with the reflection of fire, sparkle, rain and sunlight all at the same time, but that heat within her causes such beauty to burst into pedals not flames, people describe her as the fireplace everyone needs during winter, and so it goes .. " you don't need any fireplace when she's near."
