My Personal Hair Growth Tips

The request for hair growth advice has increased, throughout people I have met and those online.

In this article, I will give you my top hair growth tips and survival methods that I developed through life and some even inspired by my mother, who I am confident to say has one of the most beautiful, appealing hair one will ever see.


Throughout my childhood, my mother has always been the one to manage my hair, to comb it every morning and tell me which shampoos to use, to braid and style it every time or at least for the most of the time we would go out to events. There was a period of time where I lived with my hair loose at all times, I recall always having it everywhere, kind of like a beautiful mess. I was so entertained living my life that my hair was the least priority. Believe it or not, during that time the shampoos I used were so randomly chosen, which is why I am secure that the reason my hair ever even continued to grow and nourish from this moment on was because of my mother and her hands, well mainly that apart from just getting her great hair genes.


Moving forward, I simply wanted to give you that insight so that you are further encouraged to use the following tips



TIP NUMBER ONE :


REVISE YOUR SHOWER DATES

This is a must number one tip, to be more clear you do not ever want to over wash your hair, this will leave it damaged and cause it to dry really awfully, so my advice is depending on your hair thickness, you must assure to leave days for your natural hair oils to live for some time in your hair, this is important, very important revising days to shower your hair can play a grand part into that growth journey, so take your hair a shower only occasionally, when needed.


TIP NUMBER TWO :


LOVE YOUR HAIR


I can not stress this enough, love truly is everything in life, even with your hair, so first before anything you need to love your hair, show it care, massage it, play with it a bit, appreciate it, and take proper care of it. For example if you are running a quick errand around the house but notice your hair is frizzy or dry, manage to control the situation and lastly, use your fingers to brush your hair after using the hair comb a few times.


TIP NUMBER THREE :


MAKE TRIMMING A USUAL THING


By trimming your points or half of your hair throughout the month does not guarantee full growth, says research, but I definitely am saying otherwise, trimming on a usual needed basis helps the hair follicle in your scalp and will take an important lead when caring for your hair growth, even if it takes longer for some people, this tip leads to silky, smooth hair. By doing this, you are out with the old, in with the new, how? Fresh cuts lead to less breakage and damage, in simple words this tip helps replenish the hair for one of the healthiest glows


TIP NUMBER FOUR :


NOURISH THAT HAIR



When I mention nourish, I mean hydrate, moisturize, feed. By all means give your hair the moist it needs throughout the day, to make things better you can moisturize and grab your hair for a quicker result


TIP NUMBER FIVE :


MAKE STYLING A PRIORITY



When I mention styling, I do NOT mean heat styling, I mean heatless styling of course, if you feel your hair is too dry or dull, this one will help.

When styling your hair more often, the more your hair will grow, this is due to the fact that the hair is not in constant exposure to so much in your surroundings and because it is part of increasing blood flow eventually causing hair growth, specifically braiding the hair will give you the best results, trust me this works with me aaallll the time. Follow this tip and you will also have breathtaking natural waves


TIP NUMBER SIX :


GET SUNLIGHT ON YOUR HAIR - VITAMIN D



This one may sound a bit unexpected and a bit contradicting for you I can think, but when I began investing more investigation with this topic, I had no doubt that this actually is very beneficial for the hair, which has to be a part of your daily life routine, not only does sunlight prevent hair loss, but does it give your hair strength, personally I noticed a drastic change in my hair, not only did the color change lighter but it has made my hair more resistant


TIP NUMBER SEVEN :


REVISE YOUR PRODUCTS

It is a requirement to me that I trust and see the best of results in my products, if I do not, I move on to look for ones that will, it can be complicated to find the product you trust but when you do, it is the best feeling, so double make sure that what you are putting on your hair is giving you what you need, otherwise it is time to go shopping, remember, the more natural the better.

  2. “ Rose Water Cocokind” ( It is meant for the skin, however I use it for my scalp also ) - I will tell you now, rose water is my everything







TIP NUMBER EIGHT :


PREPARE HAIR CARE DAYS - HOMEMADE REMEDIES



The most marvelous feeling when you have that spa care day, time to just sit back and look after your hair, skin, body, is what we live for and if you have not had the time or do not make hair care days a priority you need to switch the schedule or make some space, I got you in what is best trust me you will want to begin now. When disclosing my homemade remedies, I am giving you a gem, something I never thought of sharing but I will because I want you to have the most fullest gorgeous hair, so here are a few remedies I make on my spa days

  1. Mashed avocado and local honey

  2. Rice water or potato water.. yes potato water ( rinse beforehand, let soak in a jar for 12-24 hours )

  3. I also leave coconut oil on my points for about an hour

  4. One of my mother’s favorite and best of all above is aloe vera, freshly cut I will recommend ( leave in for 25 minutes )


TIP NUMBER NINE :


TREAT THE SCALP ALSO



It is a must to care for the scalp not just the length of your hair and ends, it all begins from having a healthy scalp, ways to nourish the scalp consist of light massages, as mentioned before, using brands with less chemicals and with eating more antioxidants, one of my favorites is to shower with cold water

NUMBER TEN :


EAT THE RIGHT FOOD



What you eat plays one of the most grand impacts when it comes to feeling well and being well, so when talking about the hair, what helps upgrade the health includes eating fruits and vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, potatoes and carrots, all of which probably aren't your favorite, but just try to fit them into your diet, my advice I say you make a smoothie
