What exactly about Space exploration/discovery amuses me?
What exactly fascinates me about the exploration of space?
Far more than looking at the facts and the history of space discovery, my enjoyment for astronomy has always been around, yet only grew more as I turned older and as I was taught the basics of the system. Getting to experience connecting to the simplest things in life, the curiosity and urge to know more and more was quite intense. I knew that if I ever just needed to feel a sigh of relief, to escape the reality for just one minute, the opportunity to look up to the sky every night would be that escape, and I find it to be one of the most breathtaking. To realize we have planets such as Mercury that have been untouched by humanity's disasters and chaos is what makes it all special. On the other hand it is also inspiring to realize that a person can even visit the moon's surface, which speaking of, to sum up my personal statement here, the magical feeling of looking up to the sky and moon is as emotional as if you were listening to the song "Talking To The Moon" by... oh you know who it's by... Lastly, I am so involved, because I have come to recognizing there is more to what we are living right now, in knowing we have been fortunate enough to even discover far more than the earth.
What Have We Discovered?
Briefly note some of this information is not verified, but has been examined and is credible.
Space agencies claim their reason for dedication to space exploration has lead by not only unleashing information of the solar system but because they are aware it can bring benefits to the people down on earth from all over the world including scientists, who are the ones pursuing the study in order to see more of what it can bring including cures.
Although Mercury has been known to be almost impossible or simply a challenge for humans to ever live in, we can briefly know that it's temperatures are completely un tolerable, for example, being the planet closest to the sun, Mercury has no atmosphere, what does that mean? It means there is no chance for a possible sign of life, it is not function- able to sustain oceans, due to it's density the gravity will be nearly close to Mars. Below is chart that sums of some more basic information.
When it comes to the moon, the surface is consistently being showered with radiation, this gives the ability to create energy with such rich molecules that it comes to creating a kind of chemical fuel for potential power to create life, but only when those molecules dissolve.
BULLET POINT KEY FACTS YOU MAY HAVE NOT KNOWN ABOUT BEFORE :
Saturn's tiniest of moon "Enceladus" ejects water into space that comes from geysers which emanate (emerges) from an underground sea.
NASA around the years of 1996 - 2002 was the start of discovering Europa by sending their robotic spacecraft so much closer to Europa, they saw that it's surface was crossed with "mountain like ridges and valley like troughs," why is this important? the patterns suggest that there is an ocean below which is why there were signs of cracks and ridges.
Phosphine which is a toxic respiratory poison has been found in planet Venus, this makes the planet dangerous to life
The Comet known as " NEOWISE " was seen in Italy during the summer of 2020, this occurred when scientifically the comet made one of it's closest approaches to the sun on the day of July 3rd, and survived the encounter, it was visible allowing people to see such an impressive tail as it made it's way back toward the outer solar system.
